Colorado Springs police arrested a 28-year-old man Friday on drug charges after purportedly finding 50 grams of narcotics and other evidence of drug distribution in his vehicle, according to an online blotter entry.

Officers booked Zebediah Morris into the El Paso County jail, where he was being held on two bonds totaling $60,000, according to jail records.

Police arrested Morris around 7 p.m. in the 2000 block of Southgate Road on a warrant related to felony drug and weapon charges in Fountain. In addition to the warrant, Morris faces new drug charges after a drug-sniffing dog alerted officers to narcotics in Morris’ vehicle, police said.
