Liberals mad prominent conservatives aren’t upset over South Park jokes

Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk said Sunday people are “so mad” he wasn’t offended over South Park’s portrayal of him, saying he found the parody “funny.”

South Park’s last episode featured one of its main characters, Eric Cartman, parodying Kirk as a “master debater” on college campuses, debating hot-button issues like abortion with college students. Kirk shared a clip of Cartman’s debate on X Thursday, saying the portrayal of himself is “not bad.”

Following the episode airing on Comedy Central Wednesday, multiple people have made videos critical of Kirk’s response, with one user claiming the TP USA CEO was trying to “save face.”

“They are so mad I’m not mad and that I found South Park funny,” Kirk said Sunday while reposting a compilation of these videos.

Beyond commending the show’s portrayal of himself, Kirk is also selling T-shirts saying, “Master Debater,” on The Charlie Kirk Show’s website. Additionally, Kirk changed his profile picture on X to Cartman’s parody ahead of the episode’s release.

Kirk is not the only prominent conservative to play up his South Park parody, as Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also changed her X profile picture to her character in the show. She promoted the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s hiring spree while sharing her new picture.

Similarly, Vice President JD Vance celebrated being featured on the show, saying he “finally made it” and shared a screenshot of his character. Both Vance and President Donald Trump are portrayed having photos of their realistic faces atop animated bodies.

DHS USES SOUTH PARK PARODY AS SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

The Trump administration has capitalized on internet memes and social media in recent weeks. Last week, the Department of Defense’s X account referenced the viral Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ad by saying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has “great jeans.”

The White House’s X account also posted a video on Sunday showing Border Czar Tom Homan rising as the sun over Trump’s border wall, referencing the sun from the Teletubbies children’s show.
