Sometimes it’s a quick slice on the go, and other times it’s a sit-down meal where you can take your time to savor every bite. No matter the occasion, there’s never a wrong time for pizza.
Luckily, Colorado Springs is home to a variety of pizza places — from classic, traditional pies to unique creations like the taco pizza at Louie’s.

9. Fargo’s Pizza Co.
This longtime Colorado Springs staple is one of the largest family pizza restaurants in the world. Fargo’s can seat up to 500 guests across its massive 16,000-square-foot space. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, featuring toppings like Italian sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni, chicken Alfredo and much more.
8. Fat Sully’s Pizza
Known for their gigantic pizza slices, Fat Sully’s has seven locations across Colorado, including the popular spot on Tejon Street in Colorado Springs. They offer build-your-own pizzas with unique toppings like feta, anchovies, arugula and artichoke hearts. For those with dietary restrictions, there’s also a gluten-free cauliflower crust option.
7. White Pie
Located downtown, White Pie serves more than just traditional pizzas. They also specialize in Sicilian-style deep-dish pies made with their signature sourdough starter. Some of their standout menu items include the “Butternut Banger,” topped with butternut squash and the “Buffalo Bird,” featuring chicken tenders and buffalo sauce.

Upstate Pizzeria is one of several restaurants located in the Avenue 19 food hall in downtown Colorado Springs. Known for its New York–style slices, the pizzeria brings a taste of the Northeast to Colorado. Upstate features a straightforward menu with specialty pizzas and a variety of toppings to choose from.

Leon Gessi has been serving up pizza, subs, calzones and salads to the Colorado Springs area since it was established in 1974. In addition to their by-the-slice, 14-inch, and 16-inch options, be sure to check out their daily specials. Some of their specialty pizzas include “Kitchen Sink” and “Green House.”

Founded in 1985 at the corner of Barnes and Oro Blanco, Louie’s Pizza has grown to five locations across Colorado Springs. They serve East Coast and Detroit-style pizzas, calzones, pastas, wings and more. Louie’s also offers a dessert pizza topped with your choice of apple, cherry, strawberry or blueberry.
3. Walter’s303 Pizzeria
Located on the north side of Colorado Springs, Walter’s303 serves up something for every pizza lover. Choose from signature pies like the BBQ Chicken or The Greek, go with deep dish or create your own custom pizza. The menu also features build-your-own calzones, classic and vegetarian lasagna and oven-baked subs.
2. Il Vicino
Il Vicino made a big leap this year, climbing into the Top 10 after missing the list entirely the past two years in the Best of the Springs magazine. Known for its artisanal wood-fired pizza, the restaurant is located in University Village off North Nevada Avenue. Along with their comprehensive pizza menu, they also serve up flatbread sandwiches, salads and calzones.

Slice 420 has consistently claimed the No. 1 spot for pizza in the Best of the Springs magazine. With locations in Old Colorado City and on Oro Blanco Drive, they serve up New York-style gourmet pies and offer weekly pizza specials and combo deals.
