Shelter-in-place order lifted for neighborhood in northeast Colorado Springs

A shelter-in-place order was issued for an area just east of Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs due to police activity Tuesday night, according to Peak Alerts

Just after 8:15 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department issued a shelter-in-place for the area around 4300 Date St. due to police activity related to a search warrant. 

“You are asked to stay indoors; please lock and stay away from windows and doors. Please stay out of the immediate area until further notice,” the Peak Alert said.  

Just before 10 p.m., the shelter-in-place order was lifted for the area.
