Fountain police investigate fatal auto pedestrian crash Thursday morning
The Fountain Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian, department officials said Thursday.
Police said the crash occurred shortly after midnight Wednesday.
According to police, the crash involved a vehicle and pedestrian and occurred near the intersection of Mesa Ridge Parkway and Fountain Mesa Road.
East and westbound lanes of Mesa Ridge Parkway were closed for several hours, reopening about 4 a.m.
The cause of the crash and the victim’s identity have not been released.
