Nikola Jokic ruled out for Nuggets’ game at Oklahoma City Wednesday

The Nuggets will be without their two-time NBA MVP at Oklahoma City.

Nikola Jokic was ruled out for Wednesday night’s premium matchup between the Nuggets (33-15) and Thunder (32-15) at the Paycom Center.

Jokic’s ailment is described as lower back pain.

Jokic currently is the betting favorite (-125) to win the MVP award again, according to BetMGM. He’s trailed by Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (+300).

Denver is 1-2 vs. Oklahoma City this season.
