DU Pioneers men’s hoops wins fourth straight | Colorado Sunshine

Where the good news shines

The University of Denver men’s basketball team took care of business against Colorado College 90-66, on Saturday to extend the Pioneers’ winning streak to four games.

Touko Tainamo had 23 points to lead balanced attack with four players in double figures. Tommy Bruener had 19 points, Jaxon Brenchly added 12 and Pedro Sanvincente-Lopez chipped in 11.

Denver did a great job disrupting Colorado College shots in the contest, coming away with 11 blocks. Isaiah Carr’s nine rejections led the way individually for the Pioneers.

Denver will hit the road Wednesday for a matchup with Colorado State. Tip is set for 7 p.m.
