Warmer, sunnier weather is in store this weekend in Colorado Springs, meteorologists say.
"The weekend will bring back "drier" and milder weather!" Gazette news partner KKTV reported. "We could see a few passing showers but overall expect to see more sun and MUCH more dry time than previous days."
The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted highs of 69 degrees Saturday, 72 degrees Sunday and 63 degrees Monday. Skies are expected to be mostly sunny each day.
Saturday has a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between noon and 9 p.m., the weather service said. Dry weather is expected Sunday and Monday.
