On Dec. 10, Shield 616 presented three Monument Police Department officers with tactical gear through a fundraiser at the Monument Safeway; the store raised funds for the vests and helmets. Following the presentation, community members and guests could ask questions about the gear, see it and touch it. One officer dressed up a young community member in attendance in the tactical gear.
