The Denver Broncos offensive line struggled mightily in 2017. Quarterbacks were sacked 32 times, the second-highest total in the NFL. Departed quarterback Trevor Siemian was constantly on the run.
The line’s struggles were a big part of the 5-11 finish.
During preseason practices, outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett has noticed a change in the offensive line. It’s tougher to invade the Broncos’ pocket, he said.
“It’s harder to get sacks on them now,” he said. “They’ve stepped it up a lot.”
