Reported sex assaults at Fort Carson rise sharply, Pentagon says


Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor will be on a media conference call Friday, Aug. 5, at 4 p.m. MDT to promote their upcoming fight at UFC 202.

On just 11 days' notice, Diaz (19-10) submitted McGregor (19-3) by rear-naked choke on March 5 at UFC 196.

McGregor, the featherweight champion, went up two weight classes to take the fight. The 145-pound champion, fought Diaz at 170 pounds. The rematch, which will be at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Aug. 20, will again be at 170 pounds.

Several fighters from Colorado and Colorado Springs will be on the card.

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone (30-7, 1 no contest), a former Air Academy student, will take on Rick Story (19-8). Raquel Pennington (7-6), who lives, trains and fights out of Colorado Springs, takes on Elizabeth Phillips (5-3). Neil Magny (18-5), who fights out of Denver, takes on Lorenz Larkin (17-5, 1 NC).
