Gov. Jared Polis announced additional members of his cabinet Wednesday, his first full day in office.
Two of the four are county commissioners, and a member of outgoing Gov. John Hickenlooper's administration will continue in his position.
“This cabinet is one of the most talented groups of people I’ve had the pleasure of working with,” Polis said in a statement. “I can’t wait to tackle some of Colorado’s most pressing issues with this team.”
The Democrat, a former five-term member of Congress, was sworn into office Tuesday. He named a dozen incoming cabinet members in late December.

Air Force Major General Michael Loh, Colorado's adjutant general and the executive director of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, will remain in the position he has held since March 2017, Polis's office said.
Responsible for overseeing the the 6,700 soldiers, airmen, state employees and volunteers in the Colorado National Guard, the Division of Veterans Affairs, and the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, Loh is a command pilot with more than 3,200 flight hours, including 2,900 hours and 128 combat flight hours in the F-16A/B/C/D.
Summit County Commissioner Dan Gibbs, a former Democratic state representative and state senator, will head the Department of Natural Resources.
Eagle County Commissioner Jill Hunsaker Ryan has been named the executive director for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Ryan is president of Colorado Communities for Climate Action and a former vice president of the Colorado Board of Health. She managed Eagle County's public health agency before being elected commissioner and is a former director of the Office of Health Disparities at the agency she has been been tapped to lead.
Theresa Szczurek, a co-founder and former CEO of Radish Systems LLC, a Boulder-based software company, has been named executive director of the Governor’s Office of Information Technology and the state's chief information officer.
Described as a serial technology entrepreneur, Szczurek is the author of "Pursuit of Passionate Purpose," a best-selling business book, volunteers as a Girl Scout leader and has been named an Outstanding Woman in Business by the Denver Business Journal, the YWCA and Business and Professional Women.
