The Roy J. Wasson Academic Campus in Colorado Springs School District 11 will benefit from the work of volunteers on Saturday during the company's annual Comcast Cares Day.
The day recognizes the company's commitment to service and a tradition that has grown into the largest, single-day cor0orate volunteer event in the nation.
Comcast will provide $4,800 in supplies, breakfast for the volunteers and T-shirts.
Volunteers will tackle eight projects to beautify the campus, which offers eight alternative education programs for students.
