Two eastbound lanes on U.S. 36 reopened early Tuesday after crews worked through the night to repair the 200-foot-long crack across the highway that links Boulder and Denver, says a report by 9News.

Colorado Department of Transportation workers shifted two eastbound lanes to the westbound side and added a concrete barrier, 9News reported. Traffic is limited to two lanes in each direction for about a half-mile stretch between Wadsworth and Church Ranch boulevards.
