Two northeast Colorado Springs businesses were robbed early Sunday morning.

Shortly before 1 a.m. a man driving a vehicle of unknown make and model pulled up to the drive-through window of a McDonalds located at 3535 Hartsel Drive. Brandishing a handgun, the suspect demanded money before making off with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

And just before 5 a.m. the Kum and GO at 7375 Duryea Drive was robbed by a suspect with a handgun. The suspect escaped with an unknown amount of cash, police said.

Police were unable to locate the suspects from either robbery.
