A woman’s dog chased a strange man from her house late Monday night, and another dog later found him hiding underneath a nearby vehicle.
The woman first heard a noise about 10:20 p.m. Monday on the deck of her house on the 100 block of Farragut Avenue. After looking through a window, she turned back to find a man standing in the doorway of her bedroom, according to Colorado Springs police.
It was then, however, that her dog woke up and went after the trespasser.
A police search dog later found a man hiding underneath a vehicle that was parked in a garage about a block away.
The man, 28-year-old Matthew Dangle, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing, a felony, in connection with the incident.
