A 17-year-old had a broken eye socket after he was robbed and punched in the face in south Colorado Springs Thursday night.

According to police, the 17-year-old was in front of his home on the 3600 block of Brentwood Terrace about 7:45 p.m. He was walking to his front door when two men showed up and confronted him. One of them hit the victim in the face and then reached into his pockets and took out his wallet. After taking money out of the wallet, the robbers left the wallet and drove away in a maroon-colored four-door vehicle.

The victim went to Memorial Hospital Central where police were contacted. He had a broken orbital bone.
