A robber stole cash from a Key Bank in northeastern Colorado Springs Tuesday morning, police said.

Colorado Springs police rushed to a reported robbery at 5725 North Academy Boulevard just after 9 a.m. where a robber, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a yellow face covering and a construction vest, demanded money from the clerks.

The robber did not threaten the tellers with a gun and was able to escape with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robber ran away before police arrived.
