A stretch of the New Santa Fe Regional Trail is closed through July 19 for construction, according to El Paso County.

The paved trail and parts of the trailhead at Colorado 105 will be blocked while crews replace the concrete trail highway underpass, the county said in a Thursday news release.

Cyclists, hikers, and others who use the trail can access it via the trailhead on Third Street in Monument, according to the news release.
