The southeast section of the city is at once one of the oldest, with modesthomes, and newest, with developments convenient to military facilities.

Spring Creek is a Traditional Neighborhood Development with a neighborhoodstreetscape and front porches. It’s designed as a small-town environmentwith neighborhood parks.

Pikes Peak Park is an established neighborhood along South Circle Drive and CheltonRoad. It’s a straight shot to Interstate 25 and minutes from Fort Carson, the airport anddowntown. Some new housing areas have been built here as well as apartments andtownhomes, but most of the homes in Pikes Peak Park were built in the 1970s and early1980s. It is close to Harrison District 2 schools and recreation. Three major sports complexes— Leon Young Sports Complex, El Pomar Youth Sports Park and Sky View Sports Complex— are in or near the Pikes Peak Park neighborhoods.

The busy Southeast and Armed Services YMCA has a special mission to serve militaryfamilies as well as schools in the area and the surrounding community.
