A man was hospitalized with nonlife-threatening injuries after he was shot in the leg in northwest Colorado Springs Friday night. 

Police have identified a suspect in the shooting but did not release a description.

The shooting was reported just before 10 p.m. in the 2200 block of Split Rock Drive just northwest of Ute Valley Park.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 444-7000. Those who want to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 634-7867 or 1-800-222-8477.
