A Manitou Springs family was displaced by an early-morning fire Monday.
According to Manitou firefighters, the blaze started just after 2 a.m. at a single-family home on Old Crystal Park Road.
When firefighters arrived, the single-story home was fully engulfed in flames. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the blaze, said Captain Randy Perkins of the Manitou Springs Fire Department.
The two residents were not injured and duplexes near the home were not burned, Perkins said.
Perkins did not have a damage estimate, but said the home is uninhabitable until it is repaired. He said investigators, including arson investigators from the Colorado Springs Fire Department, are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
