One person suffered life-threatening injuries and another was hurt in a two-car crash in Old Colorado City Friday morning.

Colorado Springs police say a driver was pinned in his vehicle and had to be cut free by firefighters. Another occupant of that vehicle had less serious injuries. Both were hospitalized.

The wreck closed the intersection of 26th Street and Colorado Avenue for hours

Police didn't release details on what led to the crash nor did they release the identities of those involved.
