Fire crews quickly contained an apartment fire in east Colorado Springs on Tuesday, according to a tweet from the fire department.

Firefighters responded to an emergency call at 195 N. Murray Blvd. and found a fire in a top-floor apartment, an official said.

Crews had the flames under control in less than an hour and were able to contain the damage to a single apartment. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, officials said.
