Colorado Springs’ newest choice for accelerated career training and education, IBMC College, has obtained accreditation for the local campus from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). As the largest national accrediting organization of degree granting institutions, ACICS is one of only two national accreditors recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Through a variety of certificate, diploma and degree programs, IBMC students acquire the necessary skills to succeed in their chosen career field, taught by dedicated professional instructors who have real-world industry experience combined with an appropriate formal education.
Operating four campuses in Colorado, (Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, Greeley and Longmont) as well as a campus in Cheyenne WY, career training programs through IBMC College vary by campus, however each campus makes it convenient for students to create a class schedule that fits with their busy life.
The Colorado Springs campus is currently offering programs in Business Administration and Accounting, Dental Assisting, Dental Office Administration, Expanded Duties Dental Assisting, Esthetician certificate, Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Lab Technician, Personal Training, and Therapeutic Massage.
In an effort to ensure quality career training, the Colorado Springs campus is equipped with computer labs, dental assisting labs and technology, personal training rooms and equipment, medical labs, massage therapy classrooms and clinics, as well as lecture classrooms.
Most courses are offered mornings, afternoons or evenings and prepare students for a career in as little as six to 23 months, when following course requirements as prescribed. Classes vary by session, so it’s important to speak with an admissions representative specialist to help determine the best education path for each student.
IBMC College also provides a committed Career Services team that works hard to provide job and career placement opportunities for students and graduates. Boasting an 85-percent successful career placement rating,*IBMC College has the knowledge, experience, and relationships to match qualified students with local businesses.
Thanks to the efforts of the IBMC College Career Services team, many externships are accessible for students through a variety of local businesses, giving students five to six weeks receiving hands-on experience working directly with employers.
