The driver of a cargo truck was extricated from his vehicle after crashing on Interstate 25 near Fountain Wednesday night, Fountain police said.

Fountain Fire Department arrived on scene around 11:28 p.m. to stabilize the truck and rescue the driver, who suffered minor injuries. The driver was transported to a hospital, police said.

Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash, police said.
