A person was found dead after being shot Wednesday morning at an east Colorado Springs hotel, police said.
Around 8:15 a.m., Colorado Springs police went to the Rodeway Inn, 520 N. Murray Blvd., where they found a person with a fatal gunshot wound.
No information about the victim was available. No arrests have been announced and no suspect information was released.
If the coroner rules the death a homicide, it would be the 34th homicide investigation this year. There were 24 homicides in all of 2019.
