After receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine this spring, Lippy suffered severe side-effects and almost died. Lippy developed blood clots that destroyed her small intestine. She spent 33 days in the hospital as her doctors tried to determine the source of the problem. She was in an induced coma for 22 days with feeding tubes.
