Keystone Resort is investing big in an automated snowmaking system. With 53 new snow guns ready to roll with the push of a button, Keystone is joining the race to open Colorado's ski season. After first installing snowmaking equipment in 1972, Keystone was a regular contender to kick off the season. With upgrades of their own in the decades after, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland have typically been the ones vying for bragging rights. (Video by Seth Boster)
