Bakers in Colorado Springs have embraced the hyper-realistic cake trend, where regular food items, such as hamburgers and pizzas, and also everyday items, including jeans and beach balls, reveal a cake-filled interior when sliced. The baking trend hit social media about five years ago, and also spawned the recent Netflix series, "Is it Cake?"
