Yoga and beer. Together forever.

A local yoga teacher, Tracey Cregg Garcia, emailed me recently about her new class starting up at Jak's Brewing Company in Peyton. By the way, Garcia was also named this year's best yoga teacher in The Gazette's Best of the Springs magazine.

Participants can take her hour-long vinyasa class and stick around for a beer afterward. The goal? To create community.

Apparently, yoga and breweries is a new trend. Just last night, I stumbled on an article about the pairing in the March issue of Yoga Journal magazine. Check us out -- the Pikes Peak region is on top of a trend!
