Looking for a way to celebrate May Day that also does some good in the world?

Head to Mansions Park in Manitou Springs for a donation-based, family-friendly yoga class with Lenora Degen and Julia Archer.

Any donations you contribute will go directly to Peaceful Warriors, Yoga in Schools, a new, not-for-profit business that will bring after-school programs to District 11 schools. They hope to be in at least five schools starting this fall.

The yoga programs's tuition is affordable -- $30 for one class per week for six weeks. That includes a mat for each child to keep. They'll also offer scholarships to kids who aren't able to pay.

What: May Day yoga to support Peaceful Warriors, Yoga in Schools

When: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2

Where: Mansions Park, 198 Lovers Lane, Manitou Springs (in case of inclement weather, class will be held at Manitou Bindu, 513 Manitou Ave.)
