Two people involved in an attempted carjacking in Pueblo are wanted, Pueblo police said Monday.

Officers responded about 3:20 p.m. Sunday to the 2000 block of Carlee Drive after a man reported that two people tried to steal his car, police said.

"He confronted and chased them across the parking lot when one of the suspects pulled out a gun and fired back at him," police said in a news release.

The two men fled to a white and black, two-door Acura with a black hood and left the scene, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Anyone with information about the men and location of the vehicle is asked to call Pueblo police at 553-2538 or Crime Stoppers at 542-7867.
