An early morning garage fire near downtown Colorado Springs forced the evacuation of two homes but no was hurt, Gazette news partner KKTV said in a report.

Firefighters had the blaze under control by 4 a.m. Friday, KKTV said.

The fire was first reported about 3 a.m. at a house on the 900 block of South Cascade Avenue.
