A Colorado Springs Craigslist scammer is suspected of answering advertisements for roommates, moving in and then taking off with the victims' belongings, police said.

Less than a month after moving in, police say, Tyshawn L. Gayle, 23, allegedly leaves while the victim is at work, taking cash, gaming systems, cars or other belongings. Police suspect him in four cases, three of which began with ads on Craigslist.

Gayle is wanted on suspicion of second-degree burglary of a dwelling, a felony, in a Nov. 30 case and second-degree burglary of a dwelling, a felony, and theft of $750 to $2,000, a misdemeanor, in a Dec. 18 case, court records show.
