Yo Yo Ma, a cello, Bach and an exquisitely touching program reaching out to bring the world together through the arts. In a joyful new video from a roof overlooking a cityscape, the legendary Ma plays the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1. His music becomes the background for dancers, musicians, sights and sounds from around the world and part of his Bach Project introduced as “Culture — the way we express ourselves and understand each other — can bind us together as one world.” His 36 concerts on six continents over two years began last August at Red Rocks.
