All lanes of Woodmen Road are open at Buckeye Drive after a single-vehicle rollover that sent three people to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The Colorado Springs Police Department's Major Accident Unit responded to the scene of the crash that happened around 4:29 a.m. on West Woodmen Road at Buckeye Drive - just west of Interstate 25 - Thursday.

Initial information revealed the driver of the vehicle swerved to avoid striking a deer on the road near the 600 block of Woodmen Road and lost control of the vehicle, police said.

Emergency responders took three teens to a local hospital, while police located a fourth occupant who had walked away from the scene.

Police have not released the identities nor conditions of the people involved in the wreck.
