The Women's Foundation of Colorado will host its annual fundraising luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 6 at The Antlers, A Wyndham Hotel, at 4 S. Cascade Ave. The event will include a panel discussion on "Advancing Women in the Workforce and Its Impact on Your Business and the Economy."
Panel members include Tatiana Bailey, director of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Economic Forum; Wendy Brors, assistant director of the Colorado Workforce Development Council; Beatrice Opoku-Asare, global inclusion and diversity director for Newmont Mining Corp.; Alison Friedman Phillips, manager of programs for The Women's Foundation of Colorado, and Debbie Sagen, vice president of workforce development for Pikes Peak Community College. They will discuss how Colorado Springs can create opportunity and remove barriers to economic security for women.
