A 48-year-old woman reported that she jumped out of a moving car after she was allegedly carjacked by two men and a woman Sunday evening.

The woman was getting into a parked car in front of the Dollar Tree Store at 2780 S. Academy Blvd. when a man believed to be armed reportedly stopped her from shutting her door and told her to start the car, according to Colorado Springs police.

Another man and a woman hopped in the backseat of the car, and the woman was forced into the front passenger seat by the man, who told her she wasn't moving her car fast enough, police said.

While the car was moving, the woman, who told police she felt like she had no other option, opened the door and jumped out the car, landing on her stomach.

The next day, police located the stolen car with a License Plate Reader as it pulled up to the shopping center where the carjacking took place the day before. Officers arrested its driver, Jacob Guerin, 22

Officers were also able to find two other suspects, identified by police as Jared Smith, 29 and Tasha Gegelman, 26, at Guerin's home at the 3000 block of Starlight Circle.

All three were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and aggravated robbery, police said.
