A woman attempting a romantic Valentine's Day gesture for her incarcerated love interest may now face criminal mischief charges, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office.

The 38-year-old woman, who has not been named, was reportedly throwing rocks at the Pueblo County Detention Center to get her love interest's attention when she broke a window.

Deputies found the broken second-floor window about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday while investigating a report of suspicious activity in the area, according to the Sheriff's Office. No one was injured.

Deputies then reviewed surveillance video for the area and saw the woman throwing rocks at the building, according to the Sheriff's Office. She was later identified, and deputies found out that she has a relationship with someone in the jail. Pueblo Fire Department crews assisted with the investigation.

An arrest warrant for criminal mischief was issued for the woman, and she has been questioned but not yet arrested, the Sheriff's Office said Wednesday afternoon.
