Widefield High student recognized for National Speech & Debate accomplishment

Widefield High School student Kylie Almeida was one of six national finalists selected out of 140,000 students for this year’s Exemplary Student Service Award from the National Speech & Debate Association.

The award honors students who have served their school, community, city and state through the skills they honed through speech and debate. From more than 140-thousand student members of the NSDA, the following students were selected as finalists for this award.

The finalists were nominated by educators, coaches and administrators across the country.
