“America Ninja Warriors” (7 p.m., NBC) - A qualifying round in Denver includes the Bouncing Spider, Rail Runner and the Ninjago Roll, which is either a Lego brand or a type of sushi.
“Loaded” (8 p.m., AMC, Series Premiere) - Four friends and business partners realize they're multi-millionaires following the sale of their company in the unique comedy.
“The Challenge XXX: Dirty 30” (7 p.m., MTV, Season Premiere) - In the season 30 premiere, 30 of the dirtiest players in “Challenge” history arrive in Cartagena, Colombia to compete for $1,000,000.
“A Night with My Ex” (8 p.m., Bravo, Series Premiere) - Tonight is the series premiere of this reality show in which former couples are brought together for one night in a camera-rigged apartment. Sounds like a great time!
“Shooter” (8 p.m., USA, Season Premiere) - In the season two premiere, Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe) and his wife join his former Marine unit in Germany and narrowly escape a deadly terrorist attack.
“Salvation” (8 p.m., CBS) - Darius and Liam need to invent a theoretically impossible piece of technology in order to divert the asteroid. I do this all the time, shouldn’t be a problem.
“Conan” (9 p.m., TBS) - Talk show host Conan O’Brien begins four days of shows (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) broadcast from San Diego Comic Con tonight. Up first are guests Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace and Edger Ramirez.
“Flip or Flop Atlanta” (7 p.m., HGTV, Series Premiere) - Christina and Tarek? Who are they? In this spin off series, hosts Ken and Anita get a bargain on an ugly 1970s split level house in the sophisticated neighborhood of Buckhead, GA.
“Syfy Presents Live from Comic Con” (9 p.m., Syfy, Special Event) - Night one of coverage of San Diego Comic Con with host Will Arnett includes breaking news, insider party access, celebrity interviews and sneak peeks at films and TV series.
“Ozark” (Netflix, Series Premiere) - A Chicago financial advisor (Jason Bateman), who has been quietly laundering money for a drug kingpin, must quickly uproot his family and move the operation to The Ozarks after his partner is caught cheating the business.
“Last Chance U” (Netflix, Season Premiere) - The 8-part documentary series returns for its second season with a new batch of junior college players looking to dive into the football program at East Mississippi Community College.
“Hacksaw Ridge” (6 p.m., HBO) - This Mel Gibson directed biopic focuses on World War II Army medic Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield), a conscientious objector who refused to take a life or even carry a weapon. Doss was eventually awarded the Medal of Honor for saving the lives of 75 soldiers.
“Risk” (7 p.m., Showtime) - Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is profiled in this documentary which was filmed over the course of seven years.
“Phelps vs Shark: Great Gold vs Great White” (6 p.m., Discovery, Special Event) - To kick off this year’s Shark Week, Discovery is pitting swimming great Michael Phelps in a race against a great white shark. Jaws can finally get revenge for all those shark skin swimsuits Olympians used to wear.
“Ballers” (8 p.m., HBO, Season Premiere) - Season three beings with Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) looking to score some high-profile clients to pay off his debts, but he hits a roadblock when Mr. Anderson (Richard Schiff) wants to focus on the Las Vegas market by partnering with a casino magnate played by Steve Guttenberg. I’ve watched the first four episodes of this season and it starts strong. Look for my “Ballers” preview later this week.
