Wednesday's traffic: Southbound I-25 closes north of Trinidad after RV catches fire

Southbound I-25 just north of Trinidad is closed. An RV and a vehicle it was towing caught fire, state patrol tweeted. No one was injured.

Accident on southbound N. Powers Boulevard and N. Carefree Circle is blocking right thru and right turn lanes.

12:49 PM

Northbound I-25 reopened to all traffic at Exit 71, Graneros Road, 16 miles north of the Walsenburg area. Crash clean-up remains on the shoulder.

Northbound I-25 at Arapahoe Road reopened, right lanes remain blocked for crash investigation.

Northbound I-25 is closed at Arapahoe Road because of an accident involving multiple cars across all lanes of traffic. Firefighters are evaluating all drivers and passengers for possible injuries.

Northbound I-25 is also closed at Graneros Road (Exit 71, 16 miles north of Walsenburg) because of a crash.

The accident on Academy and Platte has been removed from traffic.

An accident on Platte Avenue and Academy Boulevard has blocked the northbound right lane of Academy as well as partially blocking the ramp for eastbound Platte.

The accident on Marksheffel Road and Space Village Avenue has been cleared. No serious injuries reported. Lanes of both northbound and southbound Marksheffel had been blocked.

10:00 AM

Semi truck stuck under a bridge Wednesday morning, blocking westbound traffic at 1-25 and Uintah. Truck was cleared before CSPD arrived.
