WRESTLING

Lewis-Palmer 41, Douglas County 29

At Douglas County: Lewis-Palmer won four matches by pin and took eight of the 14 events against Douglas County in one of the rare events that weren't snowed out on Wednesday.

Lewis-Palmer's Alec Oberndorfer pinned Jacob Brettman at 106 pounds in 1:23, Joseph Scott (220 pounds) pinned Zach Summers in 2:40, Azam Ibragimov (132) pinned Jacob Gruenhaupt in 1:34 and Trevor Wilch (120) pinned Nikolai Trbovich in 3:01.

Weather caused the cancellations or postponements of numerous events across the Pikes Peak region, as snow and freezing temperatures blew through the area.
