A flash flood watch remains in effect for El Paso and Teller counties through midnight Sunday.
A cool front moving through southeastern Colorado will result in shows and isolated thunderstorms over the area. Heavy rain showers may trigger localized flash flooding in saturated conditions.
All eastbound lanes of Manitou Avenu are closed under U.S. 24. The Colorado Department of Transportation is cleaning out a culvert under Manitou Avenue, which requires road and ramp closure. Traffic can detour via Ridge Road. The eastbound off ramp of US 24 is also closes. Access to Manitou and Colorado Avenues is available from 26th Street.
Westbound Manitou Avenue is also closed under US 24 with traffic detouring to westbound US 24 and Ridge Road. Traffic on westbound US 24 can still access westbound Manitou Avenue via off ramp.

-- 6:34 p.m.: Northbound Vickers at Rangewood closed at entrance to Martinez Elementary until further notice
-- 3:52 p.m.: A road closure at Barnes/Powers Blvd & Union at Ranch (near Academy Blvd.)
-- 3:03 p.m.: At last six feet from the bridge, Fountain Creek reported to be well-within it's banks.
-- 3:02 p.m.: Some lanes flooded on east bound I-25. Barricades going up.
-- 2:32 p.m.: The creek at 21st and Highway 24 well within its banks.
-- 2:30 p.m.: A vehicle rescue underway at Seiferd Blvd.
-- At about 1:30 p.m.: Police report that the roof of Pikes Perk has collapsed and employees are being evacuated.
-- In the past hour, barricades are going up through Colorado Springs, including at Shelton and Santa Rosa.
-- At about 1:30 p.m.: A rescue is underway at Palmer Park. Two people are stranded in truck.
