It's time to show your love and vote for your favorite everything around Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region.

Voting for the 24th annual Gazette Best of the Springs contest starts Friday and runs through Feb. 18. Visit gazette.com/bestof beginning Friday to vote for your fave nominees in more than 250 categories, including best cocktail, bike shop, preschool, wedding photographer, financial planner and Colorado sports mascot.

We can't do it without you.

You can choose from the nominations already listed or write in one of your own. A nomination must have received at least three votes to make it into the top 10 on the official ballot.

Need some incentive to crank up your computer or other device and vote? We'll randomly choose six winners from the pool of voters. One person will receive a $500 gift certificate to his or her choice of one of the 2018 Best of the Springs winners. The other five will receive $100 gift certificates.

We'll tally all the results and wrap them in a beautiful magazine that will arrive in your Sunday paper April 29.

But just before that, we'll throw the best Best Of party around on the Thursday before the magazine drops. Meet us at the Pikes Peak Center on the evening of April 26 for food, drink, music and more, as well as early copies of the 2018 Best of the Springs magazine. All are welcome to attend. A suggested donation of $10 will benefit the Best Of winner in the nonprofit category.

And keep in mind, 2019 is the 25th anniversary of our Best of the Springs contest. We're planning something big.
