Will you take Oso home?
When the 3-year-old Bassett Hound mix came to the Humane Society, he was struggling to get around in a homemade wheelchair. Oso was hit by a motorcycle and doesn't have the use of his back legs.
Oso was brought to the Humane Society from a partner rescue in Southern Colorado. Now he has a new wheelchair built just for him and he's ready to be adopted by just the right owner.
Because of his disability, Oso has to wear a diaper that needs to be changed 3-4 times a day. He has adapted well to the wheelchair and can chase a tennis ball and go for a walk like any other dog.
For more information on adopting Oso, visit hsppr.org, call 473-1741 or stop by the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, 610 Abbot Lane.
