You may have read some of the stories describing less-than-stellar conditions at Sochi hotels this week, just hours before the start of the Sochi 2014 Games.

See what Gazette columnist David Ramsey and photographer Mark Reis have to say about the accomodations.

Some reporters have been grossed out by the hotels.

Meanwhile, Reis figures he's in in a 'plush' situation. Ramsey says it would be great if the Olympics started in three or four months instead of this week because of the late construction, but he's not complaining.
