Video: El Paso County Sheriff's office asks for help with identifying robbery suspects

On October 30, 2013, at approximately 8:10 in the evening, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed robbery at the Sonic Drive-In located at 310 Main Street in Security.

The investigation revealed two suspects, armed with semi-automatic handguns forced their way into the store. While in the store the suspects forced the employees at gun point to open the store safe. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect is described as a black male 6’4”, heavy build wearing a ski mask, gloves, black hooded sweatshirt, and tan pants with gold capped front teeth. The second suspect is described as a black male with a goatee 5’6”, thin build wearing a ski mask, gloves, black hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants.

A video of the incident was obtained by investigators and is attached to the electronic copy of this release for distribution by the media.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office at 390-5555.
