Troops, veterans and their family members are invited to participate in an annual storytelling event just for them.
The annual Veterans Remember Community Dialogues will be held Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Penrose Library's Carnegie Room, 20 N. Cascade Ave.
"If you have a story to tell, we'll listen," organizer Joe Barrera said in an emailed statement.
Those with connections to the Vietnam War are invited to present during "Vietnam: The Combat Infantryman's War," from 10-11:30 a.m.
The "Women and War" panel will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The "Men and War" panel will be held from 2-4 p.m.
Soldiers of the 4th Infantry Division and local veterans will share their stories. The public is invited to attend. A free lunch will be served from 1-2 p.m.
Barrera recommends that attendees using the parking garage north of Bijou Street on Cascade Avenue, one block from the library.
